Sure, but i also remember seeing a bunch of people complaining about krakoa during it's run. I haven't engaged with anything in this new status quo directly other than some nyx- my stance as always is to take complaints (and praise) with a grain of salt until I engage with the primary source.

I can only comment that I gave myself a bit of a break after krakoa to see if it was worth it to jump back in... and never felt the need to jump back in. Krakoa was an amazing status quo that I have no idea why they stopped.

Judging from how the spiderman fans have complained about ultimate spiderman- I think fans just hate when characters are happy. They also hate when they are suffering. Comic fans are characterized by their hatred of the comics.

It's been a while since Hickman got to truly "end" anything, which is a shame because his style of writing really emphasizes build-up and payoff

Star wars uniquely and constantly performatively shat on though. I am a huge she hulk fan, and loved the series while I watched it. The the *constant* complaining about it in every online space made me wish it had just not been made. It's hard to be excited for something in those circumstances.

The reason for that is the endless hatred for new media that is algorithmically fostered in us by social media. I have not seen a single thing get a positive reaction when it spends longer than a week or so in the limelight. Media (entertainment media) is just not as bad as people act like it is.
