3/ ❌ Another narrative tested focuses on misinformation claiming that Pride festivals are financed by foreign governments in order to destabilize traditional society in Europe. Only 13% of respondents had heard this false report, but as many as 25% consider it credible.

2/ ❌ Although only 16% of respondents were aware of the false report about government programs in other countries that allegedly encourage children to identify as non-binary or transgender, as many as 35% consider it credible. This is the highest percentage of all the narratives tested.

📊 According to our longitudinal study #CEDMOTrends📈, a total of 86% of the adult Polish population saw disinformation as a “very serious” or “serious” problem, compared to 69% in the Czech Republic and 68% in Slovakia.

4/5 🇸🇰 In contrast, the attitudes of Slovak respondents differ quite significantly from those of Czechs and Poles. Slovaks perceive the European Union (46%) as the most likely actor to interfere in the elections, followed by the United States (39%) and, in third place, Russia (38%).

3/5 🇵🇱 Respondents in Poland, surveyed a few days after the second round of the presidential elections, expressed essentially similar views to those in the Czechia. They considered Russia (47%) to be the most likely to influence the elections, followed by the EU (39%) and the United States (35%).

2/5 🇨🇿 Czechs participating in the CEDMO Trends survey in June 2025 stated that, in connection with the upcoming autumn parliamentary elections, they consider efforts to influence the results of the vote by Russia (42%), the European Union (41%), and the United States (29%) to be likely.
