What I love about writing is that it's empowering. If I want a queernormative world, I can create one. If I want characters overthrowing tyrants, I can do that, too. I can make a difference.

For me: by trying something despite knowing that it might not pan out and then tackling the edits.

My lack of confidence stemmed from not having overcome any obstacles. I simply gave up. It was only when I challenged myself to execute it not the first time but in edits that I found my confidence.
