I'd say he's ready for the pressure. Don't forget, he was subbed on at Anfield earlier in the season, when we needed a goal. That's pressure. I think he's pretty fearless and if he messes up, he has the protection of his youth to dismiss any criticism. I was dying to see him come on last night.
I'd love to see what Dowman can do against these low blocks. He's clearly capable of the physical challenge. I watched him play 120 minutes in the FA Youth Cup last season, so he has the stamina too. We really need someone to put some spark in.
