We were delighted to hear reflections from Iona Colvin OBE, ahead of retirement, on her career and the state of social work in Scotland.
Also, an exciting opportunity for social workers to engage with the new Scottish Social Work Partnershipπ£

We now strongly urge the government to stand by their pledge to undertake genuine and meaningful dialogue with disabled people on the review of PIP, where reform is centred on the rights and dignity that all disabled people deserve.

Getting close to the point where I close my Twitter account and move on here. Twitter was a great place to make many connections over the years but is now so toxic and its owner using it for right wing purposes means it the end for me on that platform.

We need a coordinated approach to ensure the contribution of social work is recognised. If Scotland wants a socially just country then the Government needs to support the #SocialWork profession. Time for positive action from the Scottish Government in this area.

Horrible weather at Pittodrie tonight but the better team won. Can see why the Bernardo goal was disallowed but thought the protocol was let the attacking phase play out and VAR would then look at it. But Don Robertson blew for foul means no VAR intervention possible. Wullie Collum needs to explain
