Just a reminder that once-upon-a-time when entertainment streaming services began, the idea was by paying a monthly fee, you could get ad-free streaming.
No longer: We've been Trojan-horsed. Now you pay a monthly fee but still have to watch ads, or you have to pay ANOTHER monthly fee to avoid them.

It's a water crime under US law and the military code as well.

A reminder that the International Criminal Court arrest warrants for Netanyahu were based in part on statements he made himself about Israeli actions in Gaza.
These statements by Hegseth will be remembered.

‘We make a lot of money’: Trump downplays rise in gas prices during Iran war The US president says higher oil prices benefit the country as Iran war pushes petrol costs above $100 per barrel

Trump: "When oil prices go up, we make a lot of money."

What does Tonto say about "we"?

Trump, Russia, and his oil company cronies are the "we."
Not anyone else.

US gasoline prices over the past year.
But Donald Trump says it's great when oil prices go up. "We make a lot of money" he says.
"We"?

Iran war unsettles India's packaged water makers as bottles, caps get pricey The Iran war is rattling India's $5 billion packaged water market just ahead of the sweltering ‌summer season.

You know what else gets more expensive when the price of oil goes up? Plastic, and everything that uses it. Which is almost everything.

This is a specious question: strawman argument with built in fallacies.

Trump: “when oil prices go up, we make a lot of money.”

Translation: “We” = Trump’s big fossil fuel donors.

I'm sorry but when I post about the importance of making a rapid transition to electric vehicles and you comment that the real issue is eliminating cars completely, you're not helping.

We're racing toward the key April 1 California snowpack measurement and it's going to be disastrously low -- my estimate is far less than half of normal.

Honda Cancels All Three U.S.-Built EVs as It Expects to Lose up to $15.8 Billion The development and sale of the Honda 0-Series SUV, 0-Series Saloon, and the Acura RSX are being canceled, with Honda calling out tariffs and U.S. policy.

I can hear the cheering in China from here.

Odd to see Republican hawks calling for an escalation of the war in Iran "like we did in Vietnam" while forgetting that we lost that war.

This might make short-term economic and political sense to Honda but it's a serious long-term mistake.

Outdated intel likely led US to carry out deadly strike on Iranian elementary school, AP sources say Outdated intelligence has likely led to the United States carrying out a deadly missile strike on an elementary school in Iran that killed over 165 people, many of them children, in the opening hours ...

Going to war with no clear objective or rationale and with outdated Intel is so on brand for Trump, Hegseth, and his minions. And it leads to war crimes.

Great. That just means somewhere else is far below average. That's how averages work.

California has had about the average amount of rain expected for this time of year, but snowpack is half of normal and melting fast.
This is absolutely evidence of #climatechange.

Graph from California's water agencies snowing current statewide snowpack compared to the long-term average. Snow levels have risen rapidly when storms in late December/early January boosted snowpack, but much of that snow then melted. New storms in February rapidly boosted snowpack again, but again that snow has melted. Current levels are just half of normal, and the peak of snow season ends April 1.

What is happening with California snowpack this year is an example of #climatechange: more extreme storms that bring rain and snow; too little snow compared to rain; and rapid loss of snowpack due to rising temperatures. Snowpack is just half of normal & melting far more quickly than average.

The US intelligence community long ago gamed out all the risks surrounding a conflict with Iran, including the possibility Iran would close the Straits of Hormuz.
If the Trump administration and Hegseth are surprised now, it's because they've never listened to, and sidelined, the experts.

High oil prices aren't going to bring down the Trump administration. They're just going to wring more money from the American people and give it to the oil companies.
Just as the war is going to give more money to the weapons manufacturers.
Check whose stock prices are going up.

Video appears to show U.S. cruise missile striking Iranian school compound The seven-second video was released by Iranian state media and directly contradicts statements made by President Trump, who said Iran was responsible for the strike.

Do you all remember that the International Criminal Court has already issued arrest warrants for war crimes for Netanyahu and Gallant?
Seems like similar charges could be drafted for Trump and Hegseth.
