βStatistically itβs risky for the goal keeper to stand stillβ¦ so yeah, I love mathsβ.

Where in Scotland are you going?

Normal teaching day
Teaching morning/afternoon sports day
Normal teaching day
Trip day
Culture day
Then I am done.
Crawling but I've got this! Plus, I am really happy at work at the moment.
What on earth are you doing on this holiday?
16.07.2025 16:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 07 days to drag myself through!
14.07.2025 18:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0They are lovely
14.07.2025 18:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0That's good. It just surprised me seeing teachers teaching it differently and I saw a Whiterose slide that said it extends across the whole graph and I always thought it doesn't extend across the whole graph, you don't go past the first and last crosses
10.07.2025 17:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0And I was taught, so have always taught it this way, not to go past the extreme ends of the data. If I'm wrong I'll change it. Does it matter in an exam? Have I done my students out of a line of best fit mark.
10.07.2025 17:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Enjoy your break!!
10.07.2025 17:02 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0My last day is 24th July, I'm the sauna rooms aka classrooms πππ
10.07.2025 17:02 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0So which is correct?
10.07.2025 17:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Then I've also observed and heard been students being told the line of best fit shouldn't go beyond end crosses (if that makes sense) so like this....
10.07.2025 17:00 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0So like this...
Excuse the wobbly line
In maths this week all the teachers have been teaching scatter graphs but now I have a question as I may have been teaching something incorrectly for 22 years...
So, when drawing a line of best fit I have observed it being drawn right the way across the extent of the graph and pupils told to do this
My destiny shit sponges theory may be back on the table. My brain has come up with some yeah but arguments
10.07.2025 16:50 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Today in therapy we talked about destiny shit sponges. Probably better off not to ask but let's just say the penny is dropping about how rubbish my own theory is, we pretty much completely debunked it tonight although I still feel I've got a yeah but and a no but brewing in my brain somewhere.
