If you don't know, large language models adjust to how you interact with them. They become mirrors of how you WANT them to behave and ask them to. They have severe confirmation bias (ChatGPT 5 takes steps toward lessening this). So 'programming' it is essentially asking it act in certain ways.

This person seems to be leaning away from using ChatGPT b/c it's not giving her the answers she wants. Now she's moved to @anthropic.com's Claude and seems to have programmed it to refer to her as an Oracle and that everything she says is prophetic. This is not how AI acts unless programmed to.

This is the serious danger of using AI for advice.

Rumour has it that OpenAI’s ChatGPT will address some of this problem, especially in regards to mental health, in the upcoming model 5.

This includes basically not engagement baiting anymore.

Even then, believe it when you see it!

AI language models like ChatGPT/Claude CAN BE factual, but that doesn’t entail they will be.

When using them for personal matters like this, they will mirror what you want to hear. They’re NOT an unbiased source of opinion.

Popped to the store to get decorative rock for one of my plant pots. They had pots on sale. Had to not buy all the pots. Bought 2. I have no idea what to do with them right now. But BONUS, with a little blanket in them, they'd make perfect cat beds!

I think I'm going to have to regrow them in small pots and keep them there until they're sizable enough that he can't mess with them before I transplant them into the big one.

That’s awesome! I wasn’t sure anyone else did this. That’s my go to. Keeps the cats out of most plants. Not this one though, for some reason. He’ll rip them out or push them aside!

Anyone have tips to keep cats out of plant pots? I started this season with 5 jalapeño plants and am down to 1 because my cat keeps digging them up to poop!

He seems obsessed with this pot! Everything keeping him out of other pots has failed!

As an aside, there are ALWAYS earthquakes happening. However...

The USGS says there have been 799 in the past month (this will include over the last 24 hours). That's 17.77% of larger quakes over the last month hitting in the last day.

What the Pacific Plate looks like today after that 8.8 earthquake near Russia yesterday. Lots of +4.5 magnitude quakes happening!

Yesterday had a few more than usual too before the big quake.
