Got that right! There is a severe transformer shortage already. Lots of other big improvement projects are having trouble getting transformers in a timely manner.

I think the same thing as I look at the full shelves we’ve mostly experienced in our lives. Think of all the products you take for granted even for mundane tasks and maintenance.

Priced out a patio door for folks yesterday. It was over $4000. Supplier told me that it will be 20% more starting Monday. That’s over $4800 for a patio door! Prices like this are killing business. Don’t get me started on parts shortages we will soon see! We’re all going to be walking or bicycling.

No, in the US you have hardly any rights at the border when dealing with customs. It is one of the reasons that I hate crossing back into America even though I’m just a nobody with no criminal intent. An official having a bad day can make you miserable.

Might also be an excuse to search your phone. The law is all murky on that, especially at the border. Probably going to leave the phone behind if I travel into Canada for some bicycle touring.

My first guess is bootleg liquor, maybe drugs? After that I’m not sure.
