I broke the story yesterday that masked ICE agents (not DOJ) were removing items including a personal computer from the home of Jonathan Ross, the ICE agent who shot Renee Good. I have yet to see a single news outlet cover this or an elected official even acknowledge it.
It was reprehensible when people mocked condom usage at the height of the AIDS pandemic.
It is just as depraved to mock those wearing masks to reduce the spread of airborne viruses today.
Whenever someone takes any kind of step to protect public health, they should be applauded, not mocked.

Just a reminder that if you still fuck around with spending or making money relating to Harry Potter: you're bankrolling a hatemonger who actively invests in making the world a worse place for people like me. Don't feign ignorance.
Anyway my heart breaks for the UK trans folks (and especially kids!) just trying to live their lives and facing discrimination bankrolled by JKR, who is directly supported by her fans.
Look, I sort of get it. I was big into HP in middle and high school. It was part of my childhood and there's nostalgia there.
But sometimes you have to give things up that were important to you when supporting that thing gives money to a big terf.
The money JKR makes from this series with her IP is directly going to harm trans folks. Involvement with this production (yes, even listening) makes you an active part of that harm.
Soooo so very bummed to see a person I know and have worked with doing voice acting for the Harry Potter Audible series. Really shows how little the damage JKR is doing matters to most folks once a little paycheck is involved.
