At its core AEW is a very sink or swim environment. Tony expects you to meet him in the middle and she strikes me as someone who doesn’t wanna put in that extra work. She wants to work what she knows and is comfortable with, and it’s not gonna work in this environment.
I mean shit look at Athena one random dark match with Jody threat lead to becoming the main draw of ROH.
