This is a good question to address, actually.
There's often an intuitive assumption that when a country runs out of money, its war effort will grind to a halt. That's how households and (sometimes) companies work.
But those assumptions are really frequently frustrated - countries can push on.
The issue isn't "you should be nice to him," the man is evil incarnate and fascists do not deserve civility.
The issue is that talking about his physical decline as an outward expression of his moral decline reinforces eugenic narratives equating bodily health with character.
Eugenicists seek to eliminate vulnerable bodies, and part of the way they do that is by claiming that the vulnerable (weak/ill/deformed) body is a physical expression of inward character defect.

Trump's health is obviously deteriorating and his appearance along with it.
That's a tantalizingly easy visual metaphor to latch on to.
But at time of weaponized eugenics I really wish folks who otherwise claim liberatory values would know not to reinforce the equation of health with character.
Let me speak slowly:
If someone says “antisemitism is bad” - like op did, the appropriate response is “I agree.”
If someone responds to “antisemitism is bad” with “Antizionism isn’t antisemitism,” then they 1) don’t agree antisemitism is bad AND
Just a heads up all the Jews in your life have not just moved on from yesterday’s synagogue attack.
Nearly every synagogue hosts speakers who don’t pass antizionist standards & congregants have very little say over it short of leaving their house of worship, & there are few alternatives.
But I guarantee every church could say the same & no one is demanding Christians apply this level of scrutiny.
My take on why many (white) progressives say that Israel is making the US go to war is that they would very much prefer that to be the case than to have to examine their own culpability and participation in America's white supremacist militaristic reality.
So much easier if it's outsiders.

Everyday on this website I see my community bombarded with antisemitic posts from folks across the political spectrum. It’s exhausting but it has also long been the cost of being Jewish in public. And when rhetoric becomes real world violence, the narrative becomes it’s our own fault for existing.
For my friends, mutuals, and followers: if you have actual questions about antisemitism, including "hey, is this thing i saw antisemitic?", you can always ask me and I will do my best to answer.
