A bit disconcerting that the fellow tasked with reducing government funding doesn't know that.

As a non-college-educated voter, I don’t believe college education is the great divider exit polls suggest. There are idiotic college graduates and brilliant high school dropouts. The line between smart and stupid is mostly about curiosity

So how do you engage in a way that inspires curiosity?

I agree with the unserious observation. While many things could have been done better in the campaign, catering to people who lack the will or capacity to question even the flimsiest misinformation cannot be the answer.

Why do so many election post mortems seem to suggest Dems should campaign more like Trump (i.e., prioritize empty rhetoric and fake empathy over proposed solutions)? There are plenty of things to be done better—if getting better at infantilizing voters is the key takeaway, we’re all in trouble.

Sex between a 17-year-old and someone who is at least 24 is statutory rape in Florida. Paying for it puts it on a whole other level.
