I genuinely think methods like this are the fairest + safest way to implement age verification that subverts a lot of privacy concerns IMO & I think implementing policies like this universally for 18+ sites/content would solve so many issues. privacy is maintained & also enforces the age restriction

i am noticing more than ever how often people are using logical fallacies and thought stopping cliches as like de facto, bonified arguments for controversial topics (esp lately) and using this to dismiss valid criticisms and put down others. it's tacky and i'm over it

i think it's bcuz AI has a tendency to use -- a lot when generating text, & the reason it does that because -- is used heavily in online spaces, esp in fanfiction, where it got its training data from. ppl are saying it's a redflag for AI text now and I'm always like oop cuz I use -- ALL THE TIME LOL
