It' because they have absurd delivery quotas/schedules. They do it to buy themselves time.

But it's so short sighted. Corporate needs to stop selling people on crazy delivery times their drivers simply can not do.

Just say DELYED. FedEx is always gaslighting me about "attempts" to deliver when their truck wasn't even here today.

ps. my favorite part of is that it's something from Amazon, and Amazon has had it marked as delivered since yesterday. So they are just pressing all the status buttons.

Sorry if I seem distracted lately. Roughly 85% of my brain power is being used right now fighting my urge to get a cat.
