Attack in the opposition final third, defence after a few phases and Dan Edward’s the only positives for me.

Injuries, missed tackles off first phase and the realisation of quite how bad Murray is under the high ball the real downsides

No idea why they haven’t recognised this and facilitated a counter (e.g. stick a flanker back there for obvious kicks like Cardiff do, or swap him out for Adams when Argentina have the ball in their half)

1) rugby is a team game while cricket is an individual game played within a team. A batter can turn up and hit 100 without knowing their team mates
2) rugby players get injured a lot more. So without a club structure supporting them who looks after you when you dislocate your ankle like TW did?

Sounds like they want what is happening in cricket… top players becoming free lance franchise players travelling from league to league (country to country) playing for which ever team has drafted them that week. While this sort of works in cricket there are 2 key differences:

This might be the most I’ve ever seen Wales, let alone my home town Caerphilly, mentioned by any journalist outside of BBC Wales and @willhaycardiff.bsky.social

1) Why is 1 turret square and 1 turret round?

2) Are those rugby posts in the doorway of the Castle?

Feel it’s a game we’ll have to out-pack and put-muscle them in as the back line, although talented, is unlikely to outplay an experienced backline for 80 mins… especially defensively. Luckily our maul has been a real weapon this season so hope that is doubly so today

The difficulty is that North is traditionally Tory in the same way the Home Counties in South East England are (upper-middle class homeowners in e.g. Lisvane, Whitchurch and Llandaff North). I can’t see that demographic being who Reform target at a GE over and above e.g. Cardiff West demography

Surely the first time ever that every winning team got a bonus point??

Yes indeed. There are parts of Cardiff I could imagine Reform being strong (especially in Cardiff West) but as a City overall those pockets would be unlikely to counter-act the anti-reform vote.
I suppose there is a possibility that the β€œleft” vote could spilt 3-ways and allow Reform in

Appreciate this is a national poll prediction but I’d be really surprised if Reform took Cardiff. I’d imagine Greens / Plaid would be best placed to challenge in those seats, especially if the election was during University term time

Watched this for the first time last week, absolute masterpiece of cinema and had me on edge all the way through. I was also humming the little tune at the end of the film all week.

The big sell for the new iPhone is that it’s really thin…
Give me a thicker phone with more storage and a battery that lasts 3 or days and is removable any day! They can do it they just choose not to

the hundred is over for the year and there are big changes on the horizon - many of them real, some of them imagined.

daisy reader catherine dwells on the latter and asks - what if the hundred were sponsored by wall's ice creams? πŸ‘‡

This consultation document wouldn’t see the light of day in any public sector organisation and that ultimately sums up leading issue with the organisation. It’s basically a hybrid of a commercial and public sector organisation run using the worst bits of both…

I’ve drafted my response to the only bit that’s actually worthwhile (the open text box). Don’t think they’ll even read it but makes me feel better to know I at least tried

Gutted, but it seems like the right move for him at this stage of his life.

Hopefully we can find a suitable replacement over the winter (ready for Div 1 πŸ˜‰)

They are proper cracking under the pressure of the day. Reviewing a clear catch and giving out clearly missing lbws and costing runs

Any news on Joe Denly being able to bat (apologies if you’ve said on BBC Wales, I’m not able to listen today)?

The lions are lucky this is against Australia, South Africa would put 30-40 points just from scrums alone

Love the idea of a win predictor for a team that has never played together and there is zero data for… we’re so back #BILvARG

Gutted he’s going and seems strange for the club to let him go. Is there another reason he’s going or is it purely financial?
