Attack in the opposition final third, defence after a few phases and Dan Edwardβs the only positives for me.
Injuries, missed tackles off first phase and the realisation of quite how bad Murray is under the high ball the real downsides

No idea why they havenβt recognised this and facilitated a counter (e.g. stick a flanker back there for obvious kicks like Cardiff do, or swap him out for Adams when Argentina have the ball in their half)
09.11.2025 16:12 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 01) rugby is a team game while cricket is an individual game played within a team. A batter can turn up and hit 100 without knowing their team mates
2) rugby players get injured a lot more. So without a club structure supporting them who looks after you when you dislocate your ankle like TW did?
Sounds like they want what is happening in cricket⦠top players becoming free lance franchise players travelling from league to league (country to country) playing for which ever team has drafted them that week. While this sort of works in cricket there are 2 key differences:

Feel itβs a game weβll have to out-pack and put-muscle them in as the back line, although talented, is unlikely to outplay an experienced backline for 80 minsβ¦ especially defensively. Luckily our maul has been a real weapon this season so hope that is doubly so today
11.10.2025 13:40 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The difficulty is that North is traditionally Tory in the same way the Home Counties in South East England are (upper-middle class homeowners in e.g. Lisvane, Whitchurch and Llandaff North). I canβt see that demographic being who Reform target at a GE over and above e.g. Cardiff West demography

27.09.2025 21:41 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yes indeed. There are parts of Cardiff I could imagine Reform being strong (especially in Cardiff West) but as a City overall those pockets would be unlikely to counter-act the anti-reform vote.
I suppose there is a possibility that the βleftβ vote could spilt 3-ways and allow Reform in
Appreciate this is a national poll prediction but Iβd be really surprised if Reform took Cardiff. Iβd imagine Greens / Plaid would be best placed to challenge in those seats, especially if the election was during University term time

the hundred is over for the year and there are big changes on the horizon - many of them real, some of them imagined.
daisy reader catherine dwells on the latter and asks - what if the hundred were sponsored by wall's ice creams? π
