This is one of the most compelling 'party political broadcasts' I've seen in decades. No wonder Labour is petrified about being eclipsed by the Green Party. There is an alternative to the politics of austerity and the weaponisation of prejudice and xenophobia and yes finally a glimmer of hope.

The huge flood of new members has brought more funds, but we don't do corporate backing and big donors.

Greens once again putting into words a feeling I've been having a lot. It is nice to see a political party that doesn't appear to live in an entirely different world of phantom threats, silver spoons and shareholders.
