Completely disagree. Mr Polanski’s broad message definitely chimes with a large no. of people as Mr Corbyn showed by achieving almost 13 million votes.

Given the climate crisis etc, we don’t have the time to hope for another couple of seats at the next election by watering down the message.

Chowns, Ramsay vie for Green leadership Voting is underway to select the new leader(s) of the Green Party of England and Wales, with Ellie Chowns and Adrian Ramsay in the running against Zack Polanski.

The Guardian rates Mr Polanski as the favourite, but adds "....no one knows for sure”.

The New Statesman also rates Mr Polanski’s chances, praising his “clever comms and outgoing personality”."

Clashing visions: Chowns, running with Adrian Ramsay in a co-leadershp bid, told the audience of about 100 Brighton greens that her party should aim for broad electoral appeal, while Polanskis conveyed a forceful economic inequality-focused message. Polanski got the better reception from those in the room, according to my colleagues' trained ears.

I'm loving all of these debates about the future of our party - and the seriously energised people I'm meeting all over England & Wales.

Polanski said trans rights are human rights. We have to be actively anti racist. We also have to take on transphobia and be actively anti transphobic. Trans men are men, trans women are women and non binary identities exist. Lets make sure we actively defend trans people...because they need it right now.

So good to be in Brighton tonight for our South East Hustings.

We need to tackle inequality and take the fight to Reform.

All while keeping solidarity to the people who need us to show up for them.

That's what the Green Party stands for.

It is very clear to most activists & observers alike that the party is facing an enormous opportunity, and that we must change gear to achieve it

Only @zackpolanski.bsky.social is offering that and so it simply has to be him

Your easy clarity on issues, Zack, & your articulacy rooted in compassion & inclusivity, made voting for you a very straightforward choice.
