My newest finished sashiko project got turned into an Easy Zipper Pouch with the free tutorial from @ospring_sewing . The size is great for my needs. I guess I'll make another one with different kind of interfacing.

I saw the #pattern for these #zipperbags at the page from @sewcanshe and gave them a try. The larger one of the #zipperpouches I would fuse with something stronger next time.
That was fun and a good usage of some #scrap. They are great #giftideas of #gift s as well.

Some #progress on my pink #economyblocks for Taryn @reproquiltlover #quiltalong called #scrappymeetsthriftchallenge.
These #quiltblocks are made from my #scraps and are now 2.5 inch unfinished size.
Guess I have another #workinprogress for a while now.

Thank you! I started with my bin of the littlest red and pink scraps that I collect... keeping up will be really interesting. But I don't want to stress about it now. Either it takes longer 😉 or the project will be smaller 🙈. Whatever! As long as it is fun everything is fine.

And it is done: Quilting, Binding and washing! Thanks to #wipwednesday hosted by @sewtopia for keeping me motivated to finish this #babyquilt .
It definitely was a skillbuilder for #freemotiondesigns . Minky as backing wasn't the best choice to quilt it but it's so cosy.

For this week's #wipwednesday hosted by @sewtopia I wanted to quilt this #babyquilt with the #walkingfoot. I wanted to use it to test a #walkingfootquiltingdesigns but the stretchy minky as a backing is really annoying. Especially when quilting diagonal. So I define it as finished. #lessonslearned

This is the block from Christine @moderncharmstitchery and it is called #rubberduckmini. I had to sew it immediately with #fabrics from my #stash

Honestly I would prefer not to do so. I want to create stuff but finding myself far too often on social media. I set up bluesky just a while ago and in fact now I'm using Instagram and bluesky and I'm spending even more time online. I don't like that. It's exhausting - I totally agree
