The VA is already understaffed and overwhelmed and this decision will devastate veterans who depend on timely care and benefits.

He is currently involved in human rights abuses in the United States. He is actively promoting suppression of voters' rights in an attempt to keep himself in power. Congress, at his behest has stripped medical benefits, food, education and civil rights programs from his own citizens. With his permission American citizens peaceful hardworking-immigrants are being swept off the streets, along with the ones who are actually criminals and placed in detention or sent to notorious prisons in countries where they have never set foot. Awarding him the Nobel Peace Prize would serve to legitimize his cruelty around the world to the people in Gaza, the people in Ukraine and to his own citizens. It would serve to legitimize his growing authoritarian efforts. I urge you not to cooperate with his endeavors to enrich himself and to falsely present himself to the world as a man of noble character.
