Short version because people aren't reading the blog

- "dislikes", essentially just a "not interested" button, private, doesn't effect anyone but yourself

- "Social proximity", puts people you know at the top of comments

- "Reply context", shows people full thread before they reply

A comic with three rows of panels. The first row has four panels. Each panel shows Dipper the corgi sleeping, as a pumpkin headed creature slowly sneaks in behind him. By the fourth panel, dipper is starting to wake up but has not registered the creature yet. The second row also has four panels, sort of. In the first panel, Dipper sees the creature and freaks out. In the second, he starts to run away, pressing up against the white panel border, which bends around him like it is made out of fabric. As he continues to run, he tears off the border between the third and fourth panels, which wraps around him like a sheet as he falls over. In the third row, there are now only two panels, because the borders dividing what was panel 1 from 2 and panel 3 from 4 are torn. In the first large panel, the pumpkin creature lifts off it's pumpkin head, revealing it was Hilde the cat all along. She laughs at her successful prank. Dipper lies on the ground, covered by the white sheet. His front legs have poked two little holes in it. In the second large panel, Dipper sits up, still covered by the sheet. The sheet combined with the two holes his arms made cause him to look like a dog-shaped ghost. Hilde screams.

Python was awarded a funding grant, funding grant asked Python foundation to remove all diversity and inclusion initiatives they have.

Python foundation said no and rejected the grant.

If you use Python, send a few dollars to the charity to keep it going. I’m pushing a dono on behalf of ScamGuard.

I think that's kind of along the lines of the other option, but I'm not sure since I honestly wasn't in the webcomic space much in it's heyday.

(Not that webcomics aren't still high in demand. It just seems like things have changed a lot, and not for the good of the artists/creators.)

I mean personally I miss when webcomics had ad networks, before google decided webcomic ads were spam and porn for some reason wasn't.

I do know of a provider, but it also relies on people taking out ad space specifically on individual sites. Might be our best bet and helping other take home something from their hard work.

It's a really tough call on whether to provide ad space out of the gate or not. I, personally, think ads are one of the single most annoying, intrusive, privacy-invading tech out there. But creators have to make a living... maybe if there's a solid option that isn't Google-related.

Sex negativity is so faschy though. Yuck!
