On the State level? Yes. He has had a personal goal of visiting every county every year to listen - and to my knowledge has never missed. I am one of the 123k residents of the 6 Million Acre Adirondack Park and he has made sure we are not forgotten re fed funding.
On the Federal level? No.

100%. Having lived in both, it is only possible to be a Big Fish of Mediocrity in a small town setting. The multicultural urban world makes that impossible. It reminds the fish just how small they are and that’s a threat to their quest for Meh Superiority.

The ride was fine. Finding a place to park was quite problematic. Came up from Tacoma for the Sounders game and tried Angle Lake (a little before 5pm) and garage was packed with a continuous line of cars looking for a spot. Had to drive to Tukwila and found one open spot in the lot 😅

Why is it important? Because the other kids not at the cool table (who don’t blindly worship them, ahem) will be watching and the door will suddenly be cracked open to everyone being a part of the community in spite of our differences. It’s really that simple. And for some reason it pisses you off.
Here. I’ll simplify. I think it would be an amazing gesture if one of the kids sitting at the “cool” table, went and welcomed the new kid instead of being afraid that if they did so, then the new kid might be more cool thereby diminishing their collective coolness.
I’m also not going to determine what I will or will not say based on a fellow poster’s shortsightedness of the value of the Democratic Party showing unity across all roles and offices, whether they are “in line” or not. The message is so freaking basic.
And it clearly bothers you that I responded to his hypocrisy (we deserve better) when someone who lives, works and hopefully leads in his greater community is offering something better on a silver platter. And now you seem to imply I don’t have the right to speak my mind on someone’s public page.
