Bailiffs board Ryanair plane after airline refuses to pay delayed flight compensation Austrian officials took action after airline ignored court order to pay €890 to unnamed women

Fucking get in Austria, that's how it's done! I may be getting cynical in my old age, but I find it highly unlikely UK authorities would dare to force big businesses to follow their legal obligations. God forbid we upset business!

I'd say that's common knowledge, doesn't really need to be anonymous does it?

Everywhere I turn there's a dull centrist rag whining about Zack Polanski. It's like the mid-late 2010s all over again, but with a different target. Won't work this time.

This is hilarious.

Also, completely enraging.

How much more evidence do we need? The ultra-rich and the governments supporting them will destroy everything for the sake of profit, power and pride. Nothing is precious to them - not human life, not the living world - except their own wealth and status. Our survival depends on resisting them.

Those saying ‘has Farage even considered war with Iran will result in more asylum seekers arriving by small boat?’. Of course he has. He doesn’t really want to stop the boats. He needs them for his grievance politics and to persuade the population to support policies which will harm them.

Oh, they were already suffering before Trump decided to flatten the country? That's ok then.

I was thinking about this myself the other day. Who benefits most from high oil prices - Putin came to mind, didn't even consider the Venezuela thing.

Today we launch our plan for Wales, putting behind us the dark days when Nathan Gill, the Leader of Reform in Wales, took bribes to do the bidding of foreigners.
In other news, we have just had another £3million donation from a crypto investor who lives in Thailand...

Thank you email for joining the Green Party

Just joined UK’s Green Party for a few reasons. Starmer himself suggested ppl like me leave the Labour Party when he assumed leadership. Request granted. But the Greens’ recent success & polling (and more importantly their policy goals!) show them to be robust & viable.

It's a densely worded 28 pages. As manifestos go it's pretty detailed. It may not go into detail about the procedural aspects of getting legislation passed, but I suspect you wouldn't ask for that level of detail from any other party.

MPs’ basic salary to rise to £110,000 by end of parliament, watchdog says Ipsa cites rising abuse and constituency workloads as reasons for above-inflation increase of 5% from April

MPs’ basic salary to rise to £110,000 by end of parliament, watchdog says.

This should be accompanied by a total ban on second jobs, which in most cases is a corporate bribe. Must end all conflict of interests.

Being a MP is a full time job. MPs must act exclusively as MPs.

My dad is one of the 12 or so people lucky enough to still live in social housing. I reported a fault with his heating over Xmas and it was repaired that day. Same thing in my private rental 2 years ago took over a week to fix. Councils aren't perfect, but preferable to profiteering landlords.

Hell of a legacy you’re building there, dummy. It doesn’t matter how many times you plaster your name on buildings and ballrooms in tacky gold letters. Your grave will be one big beautiful public urinal.

They are quite prominently covering Iran too. It's not like words are rationed and being wasted on non-war related articles.

3 American soldiers have now been killed because the president wants you to stop thinking about all the children he raped.

These guys were selling t-shirts until they needed a war to cover up the intentional damage they did to the economy and the president's involvement in a pedophilia scandal.

As Nigel Farage is now so concerned about the influence of "foreign-born voters" can he finally explain why a Kazakhstan-born billionaire appears to be bankrolling his own political party?

Nigel Farage likes making repeated allegations of voter fraud (especially when he loses) Yet he claimed he didn’t know who #NathanGill was, or that he knew he was taking bribes from Russia….#bbclaurak #trevorphillips #SocialistSunday
