to me that's part of the beauty of Point Break: ACAB is Johnny Utah's epiphany at the end of the film

This movie is trying to do a lot to be a load-bearer for future DC properties, but in the end it’s pretty much exactly what I hoped for from a Superman movie. James Gunn is the only person in this game even trying.
