I know this crosswalk intimately. Too many drivers ignore the blinking light and keep going without even slowing down. I’ve been almost hit so many times. Pedestrians are at the mercy of cars/drivers. This is wrong. @anniejump.bsky.social herself has brought it to the City’s attention so many times.

A raised Crosswalk designed as a speed bump drivers where must slow down and designates a specific area for pedestrians to cross the street.

2 car lanes w zig zag lines on outlining each lane. This design creates anxiety in drivers visually signalling to slow tf down.

Demand changes to your city streets. The design of these streets are to isolate each of us, and to feel the only way to be outside is in your own personal climate-controled tank.

Demand road blocks and obstacles that make driver anxious.

Drivers should be anxious, not pedestrians.
