Similar to how employers steal more money in wages than all robbery and burglary combined, except you're also forced to pay them 168+ hours overtime a week

Thanks. I just looked up Guy Sigsworth, and look what popped up! www.bjork.fr/tournee-137

Great article, an amazing album indeed, and a remarkable musician. I'd be curious to know what/who was in the line-up with the 'Debut' gig in Manchester. I'm amazed at how minimal she's kept her live musicians, yet keep the whole sound of the recordings.

Really enjoying discovering 'Sleepdial', featured in Robin Rimbaud's July, EarSpace podcast (check @scannerdot.com) link). If you like experimental sounds that are musical, give it a listen: westmineral.bandcamp.com/album/rv-lig...

Good stuff. We have the Harmonia Mundi Version with Matthias Goerne (and various pianists, ex: Christophe Eschenbach, Elizabeth Leonskaja, Helmut Deutsch, etc) -

Disgusted to see this beautiful landscape ruined by wind turbines.

Amazing stuff. I guess this is a good example of people coming to debate/argue a point or position armed with only an opinion, and not facts. Those are the most difficult people to discuss with as they really do not understand what they are saying, yet believe they are right.

18.07.2025 12:41 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I recently borrowed a whole pile of Herbert Howells works from my local lending library. They suffered a similar problem of romanticism. I loved the choral pieces, but less the syrupy strings in the orchestra pieces.

18.07.2025 12:34 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Love the music of Vaughan Williams, and it's about my part of the UK. However, sometimes it can be a bit 'over' romantic - IMHO.
