Anyone know a good site where I can sell of (at very reasonable prices) loads of CDs? I need to downsize and I have plenty of bargains, with the buyer(s) paying the postage. @discogsofficial.bsky.social shipping policies are messy, I just can't be bothered.

I'm glad to see there's a lovely lustre to the vinyl, and no writing or stickers any .....! That certainly adds a few thousand to the price, Id say. ๐ฎ

Such a great player, sadly forgotten (almost). I have many of his recordings (not this one), which I treasure.

@theguardian.com EU, in particular von der Leyen, has let many things go, bending the knee to the US/Trump. To work, or just wake up? I have to be up at 6h00 (I'm a teacher). It's fine, but I love being able to sit around on weekends and just enjoy a late coffee.

Anyone who's into that will also understand how and why bands like Caravan, Soft Machine and Gong evolved. And then how the French scene started to produce it's own jazz with Sclavis, Texier, Humier, Portal and others. Great period in music, shame it all disappeared.

Nice article, great music indeed. I loved that era of UK jazz, it had the spirit of AACM but without the politics. Very original approach to impro too, no bebop, just energy and originality. The book looks amazing, but I wouldn't buy a book about LPs you can't find anymore. Too frustrating.

Three children sit on the floor of Tate Britain, busy at their own drawings. On the wall hangs John Singer Sargent's "Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose."
In my visits to London's museums, I'm always impressed by the many children in attendance. They're often engaged in an art project. I love that there is no cost of admission so all have access.๐ @lightacandle.bsky.social @mdstamper.bsky.social @anthonymajanlahti.bsky.social @tonylarch.bsky.social
