Used Claude.ai to read the Doepfer PLL doc and create an interactive model of its panel with explanations. Not perfect (even after a few iterations, *sigh*), but after all it might be a nice tool for modules with a rather cryptic interface or functions :-)

DIY maybe? That's cheaper. Or starting with a semimodular. Behringer is hated for some things they do, but they make affordable synths like the 2XM, Spice and Edge

and yes, there is at least one module which does exactly that. But it is fun to make my own

And when it works, modifiy the project to control the SID with CV to be integrated into the modular synth :-)

Definitely won't be due to a missing oscillator.
Curious what you're cooking up :-)

You set the rules and boundaries with your patch. The generative patch creates music within that small universe you've created. Can it produce surprising results? Absolutely. Is it AI slop? Absolutely not! :-)

Do you like the combination of the MPC with a modular synth?
I bought an MPC years ago, but it didn't click with me, it felt a bit like working with a computer. Happier with my modular synth.
Sometimes I think about giving the MPC a second change (didn't sell it).

Ah nice, thanks for the suggestion. I found out that the Oxi One has euclidean patterns in its multi-track sequencer. But those are also fixed and can't be changed via CV

The euclidean module Arythmatik is a pleasant module with nice visualization. It has 6 outputs and lots of options (even probability). But it's lacking a CV input, which would make things more dynamic. Any competitors I should know? #synthsky #eurorack #euclidean #Arythmatik
