Perhaps fear pushes us to purity for short term comfort, to be seen by few. Whereas love leads us to diversity, not for comfort - but true unity, community and to be seen fully in the greater picture of humanity.

UNITY ≠ UNIFORMITY
A desire for ‘purity’ comes from fear, not love. Just as light is made of innumerable colours and the body is not made of eyes only - but countless unique parts. Why is it so hard for humanity to see this?

Me too, since late December I started trying to draw/paint almost daily on small loose square paper - less commitment but my output has improved so much for it ☺️ I’d love to start life drawing again though. Hoping to move to Brighton next year - so will be looking for art groups/classes!

True - but I’ve also heard #bluesky is working on a photo/video focussed app too. Either way I’m sure it won’t be too long before we get the insta/TikTok alternative that we need!

Yeah - I did find #pixelfed very glitchy when I got it, which is why I didn’t continue. I struggled to even edit my profile! But hopefully it will get better soon ☺️

It is! Like MySpace if you remember that! I got #pixelfed but haven’t tried it much. Really would love a more photo/video based app. But I am enjoying the #bluesky format a lot!
