I've been playing around with MCP's lately. There are lots of directories listing them, but I haven't really seen a place that you can easily identify ones that have been vetted as being legit.

The goal: $10k/month in MRR as fast as possible.

I’ll be documenting the journey here as I go.

Here’s to new beginnings.

Short-term: I’m focused on generating cash flow with service-based offerings — landing pages, websites, and custom software.

Long-term: I’m building my own software products for recurring revenue.

You shouldn’t spend most of it doing work you don’t enjoy, playing by someone else’s rules, or relying on a single paycheck for your financial well-being.

So today, I’m going all in on working for myself.

That means full control — what I work on, when I work, where I work, and how I earn.

I’m starting a new chapter today.

One I’ve dreamed about for years — but always found reasons not to fully chase.

I’d dabble in things here and there, but I was afraid to really commit.

Eventually, I realized a few things:

It tried to build out the entire web app from scratch all in one shot 😂. It just kept going and going and going.

Will take some getting used to.

Did some vibe coding using claude 3.7 for the first time tonight.

First impressions… seems like you definitely have to rein it in or it’ll go completely off the rails.

I just kinda wanted to see what it would do, and I gave it one medium sized prompt.

There’s a reason there are tons of companies that are unbundling parts of AWS and just repackaging them and putting some margin on top… the UI/UX for AWS is just so ungodly bad.

Hard to find what you want, hard to set things up that you need to. It’s just so bad.

What email api services do you use for little hobby projects?

I was using Resend, but ran into the fact that you can only send from one domain on their free tier.

And don’t really wanna upgrade and pay $20/mo for some small hobby projects.

Any alternatives I should check out?

Pretty sure I used a dev store. I added the store in my Shopify Partner Account.

Was thinking of trying to get some freelance Shopify store development work, so I made a headless Shopify store to show to prospective clients.

Just got an email that my Shopify store was terminated because it was in violation of their Acceptable Use Policy?

Any idea why that would happen?

I think “AI Agent wrappers” will be the new ChatGPT wrappers in 2025.

Use pre built agents that solve a specific problem for the backend, build a friendly and easy to use UI for the frontend.

It’s crazy how fast you can build stuff with Cursor

1. Make a page on usequicklaunch.com
2. Make a Google Form, drop the embed link in QuickLaunch.
3. Export and drop into app.netlify.com/drop (export will be a zip - that file needs to be named index.html and needs to be in a folder.
4. Landing page is live.

What other functionality should I add to it?
