I've been in fights like this & I am here to tell you: every bit of pushback helps bc every bit of *delay* helps. Slowing the timeline can mean an investor pulls out, situations evolve to make a permit deniable or a lawsuit possible, or worst case, you hold off 2-3 years' worth of add'l pollution.

Also just to add: other than one (1) weird conservative guy late in the evening, we had nearly 3 hrs of brave testimony in *unanimous* support of pushing protections even further & honestly, despite the topic, some of the best energy I've ever felt in a council hearing. I'm glad we were all there
