Writing Tip: When you’re stuck, grab a beer. One for you, one for your main character. Soon enough, you’ll both be saying something.

Writing is weird because inspiration can hit anywhere: showers, grocery stores, traffic lights… but NEVER when you’re sitting at your desk.

Writing villains is fun until you start worrying they sound suspiciously like you. Just me?

You ever write a character so real you feel like they’d roast you if they came to life? Yeah, me too.

My characters: fully developed backstories, nuanced motivations, complex arcs.
Me: ordering food takes too much thought.

Dear characters,
Please stick to the outline.
Sincerely, your frustrated writer.

People say, ‘Just write.’ But let’s be honest, half of writing is staring at walls while deciding how to ruin your characters’ lives.

Writers don’t have hobbies; we have ‘productive procrastination activities.’ Mine involve staring at my outline like it owes me answers.

Plot twist: I sat down to write one paragraph and accidentally wrote a whole chapter. Does this mean I earned more coffee or a nap?

Every writer knows the stages of drafting:
1️⃣ This is amazing.
2️⃣ This is okay.
3️⃣ This is terrible.
4️⃣ Wait… maybe it’s not that bad?
(Repeat forever.)
