exactly! and writing romance, eventually someone's going to get their feelings hurt. i get mad every time. and then i'm like you know what... you bout to get a broken finger for that. just for that.

i have to ask them questions about what they are thinking or whether they have a vivid imagination or not and sometimes they don't even answer which is rude because i literally created these people. answer me!

i know my characters before i write but it's like; i know them at their very core, their motivations, who they are. i do not know what decisions they're going to make or anything that isn't on the page. i learn them as i write. sometimes i have to ask them questions!

#weeknightwriters i'm struggling with doing things a different way. i've always been a pantser and that's comfortable for me. planning is not ! i have all this software and sites to help me but idk i could use some other accessible references for novel planning.

how is it that i've figured out everything BUT the full plot of this novel..... i don't want to plan i don't want to. i hate it because it makes my adhd brain ITCH so badly. i have to zone in on something and start freewriting and it'll come out but in the meantime i want to crawl out of my skin.

#queerprompts jubes/vita-max story is what i'mworking on! the discrimination in my world is not based on the same as us. there's no racism/transphobia/sexism etc, but various species of beings are looked down on for the nature of their abilities, like ellis's blood manipulation in blood and embers.
