Solidarity means comfort in the fight. It means finding the strength to keep fighting every day so you don’t let your comrades down.
Solidarity is the closest things I have felt to holiness since leaving the church. Unity is the way forward and it feels as if there is a bigger fight being fought.
I’m a trans woman who lives in a red state, but I’m not scared; in fact, I’m empowered. I have a feeling that I’m actually doing the work that needs to be done and I rest easy at night knowing that I am working with millions of other people to make the world WE want to see.
There really is a lot of power in #solidarity. In a time when the world feels so fucking scary and dangerous, I can’t help but feel incredibly safe because of the people I stand in solidarity with.
Solidarity means power, something I personally have rarely felt when it comes to politics.
Last Thursday, LDSA comrades gathered downtown to make it clear that #InternationalWorkersDay is about WORKER SOLIDARITY. We rallied, marched, & comrades @jpforlou & Galen S. spoke to the crowd about the true meaning of May Day. We even survived a little bit of rain!
