Edit: Okay the SW game hasn't been officially cancelled, but its been struggling to be made since QD's rep is so bad, literally nobody in France wants to work for them, and the head writer quit the company years ago.

How is Quantic Dreams still in business? Their last game was in 2018, their Star Wars project was cancelled, and they still have lingering legal/PR issues. Lots of good unproblematic studios are closing left and right, but they somehow persist.

I know calling reps is very nerve racking. You're not sure what's the right thing to say, and tbh having a script thrown at me makes things just as nerve racking.

I get not wanting to lose your job by standing up for women. I do get that.

But when Lasseter was being cancelled, any of the men who profited from the fact that the upper echelons of Pixar were all male could've safely spoken up.

I don't think a single one did. So yeah, don't respect any of them.

I just assume every man who did well at Pixar during Lasseter's tenure is a weenie. And the fact that (as far as I'm aware) none of them have even attempted to publicly reckon with what went on there or the fact that if they'd been women they wouldn't have their careers just bolsters my assumption.
