I don’t get a sense of victim in what I’ve read here. Maybe some of your writings are touching a nerve for them?

I worry for a good friend who found true love after an awful divorce. He married her and adores his stepdaughter. But what might happen if his wife goes to visit family in her home country? I can easily imagine her being stopped at the border based on skin color and immigration status.

I learned so much from my intro class with @jenvictor.bsky.social during the first bad administration. Critical thinking. Cool graphs. Jim Crow that was left out of my public education. Your students will be better citizens (or future ones) for having taken your intro!

I wish more people knew that because as a very young Boomer, I’m sick of my adult child blaming my generation for destroying the economy for their generation. It wasn’t just a “generation” that changed the economy. There were political factors, societal factors, etc. (preaching to the choir here 🤣)
