Another finished spin 🧶 This is 218m (97 grams) of chain plied Lincoln Longwool. I wish I'd two plied it instead but there's plenty more wool in the world to try! Light DK weight. Hat maybe? #spinning #yarn #handspun

More spinning! Approximately 400m in 60g of a heavy lace. I love this so much - I didn't think that I would but I really enjoy how the colours have come out.

Singles finished for my current spin.
The right was spun first, fibre split into colour chunks, in long runs and those were spin end to end. The left was spun across the fibre as it came so has colour pooling and variation. I'm interested to see how they ply together after an overnight rest.

More spinning 🧶 This is mystery fibre that must have been a freebie from something. 66g ISH. Split in two, first half is being spun as long colour runs with the second I'll spin across the top.

I finished the spin! This came out at 96 grams, 595 meters and 27 WPI for a heavy lace, light fingering weight yarn. It's destined to become a Crocken Tor by Ysolda one I finish a WIP or two. Possibly even when Uni kicks back off again and I may need something mindless(ISH)

A hand wound ball of grey, yellow and black singles spun yarn.

Hi BlueSky! I've picked back up my yarn spinning after a long break. This is half of my singles - they were spun on one bobbin with the intention of chain plying, but after spinning I wanted a traditional two ply so had to rewind half by hand onto a temporary toilet roll bobbin.
