It's not like the shit we see in the RE games are even the only notable examples of this shit (though everything I pointed out would STILL be ridiculous). It's outright stated that there's basically dudes having their own off-screen resident evil games all the fucking time.

Like bio-terror and B.O.W.s are such massive features of the RE-verse that people should basically expect to come face-to-face with cow-sized spiders any time they turn a street corner.

There was a whole-ass aquapolis that was flooded with monsters before being vaporized by a satellite laser. New York City was overrun by zombies literally MONTHS before Ethan took his little trip to the Baker estate. The plot to RE6 is kicked off by the fucking president becoming a zombie.

Resident Evil 7 is so fucking funny because Ethan seems to be completely unaware of the existence of B.O.W.s even though by the time that game is set there have been like countries wiped off the fucking map as a direct result of Bio-Terrorism.

Today’s edition of “my brother is a fucking idiot.”
He took out a big pack of chicken to defrost a few days ago. Along with that, he ALSO took out SIX servings of the tilapia that I paid for with my own, RATIONED savings.
The chicken is still in the fridge and has almost certainly gone bad

I don't like Shimakaze's design by itself but there's a piece of art done by Araizumi Rui of Lina dressed as Shimakaze that has a special place in my heart

Tezuka cooked so much with Black Jack's design it's actually insane to think that in the 53 years since his debut and the thousands of manga that have come out since he's still like easily in the top ten

I've been harping on WoD a lot for de-emphasizing action and combat, so I suppose I should maybe check that out. It just feels weird seeing that setting applied to what is ostensibly an OSR D&D-like
