(viktor tucks a lock of his hair behind his ear) V: Both his recollection, (jayce looks down at him, smiling fondly) V: and mine.

Viktor (narration): Jayce believed that we were reconstructed as best as the Hexcore understood how. (a chalkboard with many sketches of jayce overlapping each other, each with an arrow pointing towards the next) V: But with so many disparate parts needed to fix our mangled bodies, we had become intertwined with many different universes. (jayce and viktor speaking; jayce is leaning on a table, viktor is sitting on top of it, holding a book) V: Our working hypothesis met somewhere in the middle. Regardless of the specifics, (viktor opening a portal with many runes floating in the air; jayce has his hand around his back, supporting him.) V: We wasted no time exploring the nature of my connection to the arcane.

(A city skyline and close up on a window with light streaming in. the room JV are in is full of paintings along the walls, books, and a desk. Jayce is wearing a loose white shirt and Viktor is wearing a semi-Baroque inspired outfit with his blanket as a cloak.) Jayce: 'Have you ever thought about... Maybe settling somewhere? Laying down some roots?' Viktor: 'What, here?' Jayce: 'No, no, just... In general. It would be helpful to have a library, or a lab again.' (panel shows books sitting on the floor) 'Somewhere we can start compiling all of this information.'

(scene continues. Viktor is backlit by the sun. he raises a hand to his chest, clenches his fingers in a loose fist. There is the suggestion of faint arcane scarring on his skin.) Viktor: All the multiverse at your fingertips... And you want to choose just one world?' (Jayce moves closer to put his hands on his shoulders, steadying him.) Jayce: 'It doesn't have to be something we decide right now. I'm not expecting it to. But if we find the right place, some day... Would you be willing to...?'

(Viktor holds the back of Jayce's hand, which is cupping his cheek. he moves his face and kisses his palm, looking at him softly.) Viktor: 'I'll consider it. I can't imagine what the 'right place' would look like, though.' (Jayce laces his fingers with Viktor's) Jayce: 'I'm sure you'll know it when you see it.'
