Entering the #Mersey T Flow lane, the barrier does not open immediately. It lifts and drops again, staying red. I keep creeping forward, not stationary. The tunnel staff signal they are coming, but the van behind ignores this, blaring their horn. Impatience will not make me move faster, Mr Van.

The issue arose because they wanted to install a gate in our shared alleyway. Instead of approaching us to request the contact details of our landlord or landlady, they chose to use the land registry. What makes this situation particularly odd is that I greeted them just two days ago as I walked by.

A neighbour has contacted our #landlord, claiming that we are not approachable. Let us be realistic here: I am a #data #scientist and an introvert, of course. However, to fabricate such a statement to our landlord without having made any effort to contact us is both misleading and unfortunate. 😞
