They arenāt allowing the vendors to vend during their operating hours and instead are only running the market for 4 hours this evening after they close
Oof a very large national brand headquartered in my hometown is hosting a ābig queer marketā today. A lot of queer artists are actually not participating because of the way this company has been called out for treating trans employees, but Iām here to say the tea is piping hot
Itās taken me til my 30s to realize that knowing how to cook isnāt knowing how to make elaborate meals, itās being able to say āI have a half carton of cream, butter, cheese, chicken, and tomatoesā and then figuring out how to make yourself dinner.
My resolution was to waste less food and to cook instead of relying on convenience/prepackaged meals. Tonight I worked late, but came home and was able to make a sauce using just 3 ingredients in my fridge and some leftover chicken.
It was super simple, but Iām like really proud.
