So strange. I love music before any artist or genre and I’m so grateful for that because there is so much to love. It has been an amazing year for women in music and they don’t even seem to be enjoying it.

It’s a great example. The rage baiting, bots and algorithm manipulation is obvious in comparison to here. Here people have opinions and even disappointment but not vitriol. And it leaves a space for discussion and maybe even learning without the fear of being attacked.

With all this talk of people leaving this app and the Billboard announcement I stopped by the bad place quick to see and what a mess. Billboard announcing Taylor as the #2 pop star has swifites over there acting like spoiled children and fighting with the Beyhive. It’s very different here…

They really are nasty, it’s so bad. It’s all rage baiting. The #1 graphic is going to include a lot of info on Destiny’s Child that gets left out when comparing recent solo careers.

It has to be Beyoncé. I think that it’s good to remember that this ranking is greatest pop stars of the century so far and Destiny’s Child was huge in the early 2000s.

I think that is what people are missing. It’s the biggest pop star ranking and Destiny’s Child is like top 10 selling girl groups of all time.

Seriously. I’m about Beyoncé’s age and what I think younger Swifties miss is how huge Destiny’s Child was in the 2000s. If comparing solo careers it might have been different (and has been in other rankings). Also I think Taylor would agree with how it turned out.
