This was addressed by simply changing my hormonal balance to what my brain expected it to be by suppressing the testosterone and adding estrogen.
It's not much more complicated than that, my brain devoloped expecting to be running on a different ratio of hormones than my body naturally produced
Friendly neighborhood transexual here to break it down as simply as possible.
Higher testosterone and lower estrogen made me feel extremely dissociative and disconnected from my own body, a pervasive sense that something was deeply wrong causing a constantly fluctuating state of distress.

I think I need to be the transexual in the room who points out that blocking testosterone and using estrogen instead has a massive effect on the body, and even more so if the person in question started blockers early and never had a testosterone driven puberty.
If you think public health policy/ advice should be
“You don’t need testing if you’re sexually active and you’re super duper sure your partner wouldn’t cheat on you”
Instead of
“Sexually active people should get tested regularly”

The report claims trans youth lack autonomy and the state must intervene to preserve an "open future" (i.e. cisgender future). It doesn't treat trans youth as people. It views them as confused subjects needing protection from their own identities. It's perverse.
