First day of teaching my Rare Books class for the Catholic MLIS program! Haven't run a semester long course before but I'm excited to see how this thing goes. Lots of great guest speakers and a few field trips lined up to cover a lot of different parts od rare books work.

Congratulations!!
I need to go to this!
You’re welcome! And thank you!
Had a blast with this class. Always wonderful to have enthusiastic faculty and curious students to work with!
Barbenheimer pop up at new student orientation. Apparently Georgetown was one of about 20 schools to license their logo and colors in the 90s. Has been a big hit!
These are spectacular! I miss this place so much.
This book has it all!
Hard to believe it’s already been a year at Georgetown! Was hard to find 1 or 2 images to illustrate the year but this completely ridiculous custom Sangorski binding on Percy Bysshe Shelley’s the Masque of Anarchy captures some of the vibe
Eat hoagies, wooder ice, and soft pretzels. Go down the shore for a week/weekend
Thank you! It was my Halloween costume last year. Also convinced my library communication director to use this as my picture for the library newsletter new staff article 🤣
