All of the naps. School is attempting to break me this year. Can’t plan my way out of that, so instead I’ll save myself and try to regain some sanity.

I didn’t understand how much misogyny still existed until I saw my third grade boys react to the song Golden and anything connected to that movie.

Later on, I filled out a violent incident report an submitted it. Before the day ended, I was chastised by admin for writing a “frivolous” report because “no one got hurt, so it wasn’t violence”.

The gaslighting is real.

Yesterday, a student threw a Chromebook at me, stabbed their desk with scissors and muttered threats. I was able to remove the scissors, which led to kicking desks and chairs over. Other students were moved into the hallway and I called for assistance. 1/2

It is annoying that you can enter your kid’s late arrival in the app and then you still get the call in the evening. I wish they would fix that.

Yes, I know kid was late because the subway shut down and I ended up paying $20 for them to uber to school. I already told you that!

I was so relieved to have my reports done. And then I remembered interviews next week. 😬

Finally accepted that the radio station that I had loved has changed to crap. Feels kind of like breaking up, complete with the “well, at least I don’t have to listen to that bs anymore” feeling.

All he’s ever done is live on taxpayers’ money. Not one piece of legislation to show for his entire career. It’s pretty obvious he’s not anything close to a leader.
