Adding global environment spheres to make switching skyboxes, fog, and other world‑environment settings much easier.

Been working on adding and editing environment zones to my #VR worlds this week. These let me change skyboxes, sounds, lighting, and more depending on where the player is. I think it’ll make the worlds feel way more dynamic. What do you think?
Working on a built‑in Lua editor that turns scripting complex browser and #VR worlds into a smooth, playful, creativity‑boosting ride. Really surprised how fast it runs 🚀 #metaverse #quest3 #virtualworlds #virtualreality #indiedev #webxr #threejs
It's official... server side Lua scripting is heaps of fun and great for building in my Virtual worlds😀Why didn't I add this ages ago! Can't wait to release this and see what people build... I guess I'm going to have to put together some API docs, or at least a better UI 😁
Working on server‑side Lua scripting in my virtual worlds. Soon you’ll be able to write scripts on the client or directly in #VR, then push them to the server to create and modify worlds in real time. I’m genuinely excited about the possibilities this opens up😀What do you think? Useful?
AI image to 3D Model generators are becoming better and better! TRELLIS.2 from Microsoft looks amazing🤩

Sad that Microsoft no longer supports Windows Mixed Reality #VR. Thought I'd jump on to an old windows 10 PC and see if VR Me Up still works and... Yeah, still runs 😀 If you have a WMR headset, and want somewhere to explore, check it out!
Is anyone out there still using WMR?
Stress‑testing my #dotnet software #gltf renderer with some #blender3d demo scenes, ~900k polys in ~5s without a GPU! 🚀 Since it’s built for preview thumbnails (not full renders), I’m pretty happy with the progress. What do you think?
Putting my server-side #dotnet GLTF preview renderer to the real test - generated a thumbnail for a VRM avatar and this was the result. I’ve added screen-space ambient occlusion (SSAO) to bring out the edges, and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out 😃 What do you think?
Finally got texturing working in my cross-platform C# #dotnet code for generating server-side preview images of uploaded 3D GLTF files. It's all in software, no GPU or OpenGL required😃What do you think?
Working on a cross platform C# #dotnet software rasterizer (no GPU or OpenGL required) for GLTF files so that I can generate thumbnails of 3D models uploaded to the server. Finally got some reasonable looking output... all in software! The triangle rasterizer was the hard bit😀Next up... textures!
Spent the day debugging some 3D code... I thought I'd share a couple of the "high-tech" tools I use to help me visualize 3D transformations 😆 Seriously! The T-shaped one is really handy for visualizing 3D vector cross products ... happy coding💻
Spotted this cool vintage #VR device from 1900 at the Port Macquarie Museum (NSW Australia). I'm fascinated by this old tech and love its retro charm! We have come a long way, but the basic mechanics are still the same.
Exploring the ISS in #VR is an incredible experience. Fly around using the right controller joystick, or with your hands like Superman! Do you like the way this works?

Thought I'd build something different today. Experimenting with using external 3D models and always wanted to explore the ISS in VR, so what do you think of this? vrmeup.io/@iss/

I turned yesterdays mini-build 🏗️into a quick tutorial for anyone curious about testing their build skills in the #VRMEUP playground at (vrmeup.io/@playbuild25). I hope you find it helpful

I created a picturesque little spot where you can enjoy a virtual sunset in the metaverse. It’s super relaxing in VR, just listen to the waves and chill. I hope you like it 🙂

The new hand menu button in VR makes accessing the Main Menu super easy. Just look at the palm of your left 🤚 hand and click 👆 or pinch 🤏. Hope you find it handy😃!

Grappling between the blue spheres is channeling my inner Spider-Man 🙂
Looks great! Grappling between the blue spheres is really neat, makes me feel like spider man! I love the retro "tron" look 🙂
DevLog 16 is out now, featuring updates on the evolving Metaport portal explorer and recent usability improvements I've been working on. (youtu.be/tuEN5Ohmg_c)

Nice! 🙂 I'm a big fan of WebXR!
I like A the most then C.
Spent the past couple weeks digging into performance tuning the server code⏲️. Then upgraded from .NET 6 to 9 and watched player capacity double while memory usage dropped by almost half. Same hardware, completely different beast. Wildly satisfying🎉 #dotnet #vr #metaverse
🚀 The MetaPort Explorer and Jump Points are now live in #VRMeUp! Navigating the VRMeUp metaverse has never been easier - or more fun.

Another day of coding, building the metaverse one line at a time. Sometimes, it's nice to just sit back and appreciate the results. 😃 Any other metaverse creators out there who can relate?
