Aside from just the health reasons, I have pretty severe social anxiety that comes out like crazy if I don't sleep well, so it's a necessity ESPECIALLY at cons 😭

Other than that, I feel like I could just be getting lucky and not coming into contact with any sick people

So I upgraded to the beefier N95s as opposed to the hospital ones because I read that they catch more of the aerosols.

I also started being a lot more careful about sharing drinks with people, and not drinking from the "big bottle of booze" that would usually get passed around parties lmao

Honestly, one of the biggest changes I made was wearing higher quality masks on the plane rides. I kept getting sick either last day of the con or a few days after and I had a theory it was the plane rides that were doing me in.

IT UNFORTUNATELY DOES NOT 😭
