Federal prosecutors seek to delay Feeding Our Future trial, cite 'staffing changes' Federal prosecutors want to delay a June trial in the Feeding Our Future fraud case, citing staffing changes and another lengthy trial scheduled to begin in April.

In the motion, federal prosecutors added that because defendant Abdirahman Mohamud Ahmed is not being detained, “his liberty interests are not at issue.” But the filing indicated that Ahmed’s attorney objects to the delay. Judge Nancy Brasel has not yet ruled on the motion.

Justice delayed is (not always) justice denied. But it’s long past time to honor the courageous law enforcement officers who defended democracy on January 6.

Judge Cannon has just denied @knightcolumbia.org & @weareoversight.bsky.social motions to intervene and permanently barred DOJ from disclosing Jack Smith's report. She says (again) that Smith was appointed unconstitutionally, and that the report is the fruit of the unconstitutional appointment.
