Actually, just coming from a 50-issue read of IDW Ninja Turtles, I see some parallels in Dick and Casey Jones, both being young men trying to find their own ways in a new way of life, and even finding love along the way.

I think I might be a sucker for coming-of-age stories. 🤔

Finished Volume 2 of Nightwing last night. I’ve heard that Rebirth was supposed to return the “heart” to the DC universe, and the Bludhaven “run-offs” arc was full of it. The characters really felt “real,” with stories of young people finding themselves, even in a superhero setting. Wonderful read.

So apparently Sage might be getting a miniseries in IDW Sonic next year, which could be interesting. I’d personally like to know how Sonic Frontiers, the first mainline game post-IDW, fits into the comic’s narrative (if it does at all).

And of course, there’s Belle to think about… 🤔

Got to the part in Yakuza 8 where you fight Danny Trejo and the giant killer sharks. You’d think I’d lose my emersion fighting a shark, but this is the same series where you get to punch tigers in the face and deal with chimps driving construction diggers. Par for the course.

Finally catching up on #AEWCollision and the stories are very engaging 😳🫣

Nightwing 2016’s Bludhaven arc is an interesting window into the aftermath of being a sidekick to a shitty superior. Easy to forget that superheroes can also be human, especially the younger ones.

Also I’m rooting for these too. 😉

Fun Fact: my GeForce NOW server is in Virginia and my Shadow PC is in Washington state (I live in Pittsburgh). Quite a bit of travel just to play Steam games, but it works out pretty well. 👍

Had to go through a crash course on DC Comics’ “Rebirth” event, as it’s fairly involved with my Nightwing 2016 readthrough. It’s basically the Super Genesis Wave of DC, resetting shit and undoing all the garbage from the past.

Was the New 52 really that bad? 😂
