this ended in me dealing in to the West player, who was holding all the 8s i needed. i could've fuckin had riichi ippatsu pure double sequence if i'd just kicked the 8 instead of the 7 maaaaaaaaaan

this whole fucking round i was kicking myself for discarding the 7 to call riichi (trying to set up a trap where the 8 looks super safe to discard) and completely missing that i could've had a pure double sequence, and it turns out that it was the correct discard according to MAKA
