A great evening tonight in Buffalo as Canadian Consul General Tom Clark hosted leaders from both sides of the border to discuss how we can strengthen our long-standing bonds.

More than a century ago our community built the Gardens so we could enjoy it. Today, we are investing in it so future generations enjoy it as well.

Today I took a tour of the construction at the Botanical Gardens. Owned by the people of Erie County, the site is about halfway through a project to add growhouse and event space.
You can see the new building take shape, and the douglas fir wood that is being installed is gorgeous. 1/2
This Saturday, I will be joining the Pickens County Democrats as their keynote speaker for their 2026 County Convention.
I am looking forward to meeting them and discussing how the promise of America can still ring true for all, especially during this 250th celebration of the birth of our country.

Today, I joined our @eriecounty.bsky.social Community Climate Action Task Force to highlight its work in 2025, the reductions in greenhouse gas emissions achieved, and the financial benefits accruing to Erie County from these actions.

It was a great morning today at the Newstead Senior Center as our Erie County Department for the Aging held another super-tasty Pancake Breakfast for the attendees, with fresh maple syrup made by our Erie County Parks, Recreation & Forestry team at the Sugar Shack in Concord.
