As a member of the legal profession, it is very disappointing to learn some attorneys hired to represent indigent criminal defendants by the third-party Assigned Counsel Program appear to be engaging in fraud by overbilling cases, allegedly working hours that no human could possibly do. 1/3

Erie County, in partnership with the Western NY Stormwater Coalition, is once again offering rain barrels and compost bins at a discounted cost to encourage households to reduce their environmental footprint through water conservation and reducing fertilizer use.
