πŸͺ½ANGEL ARCADE #1: MIRACLE πŸͺ½

It's soft launch day for my new comic series! This isn't a sports story about winning, but a collection of cherished memories, observations, myths, and celebrations of the "community" aspect of "fighting game community."

A mug of coffee with a biscotto perched on top, posed beside a hand holding a Zine titled, "Why Zine Under Fascism"

An excerpt from the zine:
"The internet was either a great idea (if you're into military technology used for censorship and surveillance) or a terrible idea (from a human rights and dignity perspective). Anything that lets you share your ideas off the internet is worth doing.

You don't need anyone's permission to self publish a zine.

You'll create a direct, or indirect, record of your experience under fascism.

To Zine is to wake up.

Social media platforms are not permanent. They'll be gone in, max, 20 years. Even a piece of paper of the shittiest quality will last longer than social media.

Putting together a Zine with whatever tools you have access to takes moxie, problem solving, and Innovative thinking. These are all skills the fascists do not want you to exercise.

You'll feel resourceful and empowered.

No one can censor you or stop you from saying what you want in your own self-published work.

Practicing the necessary crafting techniques, like printing, engages the mind as well as the body.

Collaborating with friends to share ideas builds a strong community bond.

I hear it's Tifa Tuesday? Here's a sticker sheet I did to celebrate the release of Rebirth. Given how much everyone likes my Tifa stuff, I'm gonna dust this one off and give it a little refresh for later this year. 😊✨

a man in a tuxedo and bow tie is standing in front of a crowd . Alt: Orson Welles as Kane in evening dress, applauding too hard to hide his humiliation.

In honour of Melania, here's a reminder that the thing Kane is applauding in this popular gif isn't good. It's very bad! It's his wife singing poorly in an opera he paid for.

Original seascape oil painting by Tisha Mark, "Finding a Kindred Spirit" 30"x30" oil on cradled Ampersand Gessobord (2025). A seascape painting with a gray-blue sky with textured, atmospheric cloud formations over a dark blue sea. Waves are meeting a rocky shore, and there is textured green moss and dark red algae or seaweed on the rocks.

I just added a few more limited edition prints to my shop, including for this seascape!

Presumably they think Momma's Dracula could be Twilight and must not be Nosferatus. Moms cannot possibly conceive of a Dracula like Nosferatu. They're moms.

If anyone else wants an Adobe Animate alternative, I can’t recommend Moho enough. It’s affordable, it’s efficient, it’s been used in feature films from Cartoon Saloon like Wolfwalkers, and the best part…NO Ai whatsoever.

Unfortunately I don’t really have a lot of unique tips. Get a good tripod. Set your camera to shoot a few seconds after clicking the trigger. Low iso number is better for a full moon I think.
